Deb Biche-Labbe
Deb Biche-Labbe returned to the coaching ranks in the fall of 2011 after serving as the college’s director of athletics for three years (2008-2011). Prior to becoming the Athletic Director at Thomas, Biche-Labbe served as the head women’s soccer coach at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. from 1998-2008. While at St. Lawrence, she led the Saints to a record of 137-90-15.
Biche-Labbe also served as a women’s soccer assistant at NCAA Division I Davidson College (1996-1998) and the head women’s soccer coach at Saint Joseph’s College (1993-1996). At SJC, she posted a 33-17-4 record. She is a 1992 graduate of Plymouth State where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Coaching. In 1993, she earned her Master of Science from Ithaca College in Sport Psychology.
Biche-Labbe was a four-year member of the Plymouth State Women’s Soccer team and was named NSCAA Soccer First Team All-American in ’91 and was also named Little East Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Year in ’90 and ’91. Biche played on two Plymouth State teams that appeared in the NCAA Final Four (’89 and ’91). In ’00 Biche was inducted into the Plymouth State Athletic Hall of Fame.
A Waterville, ME native, Biche-Labbe serves as the Associate Director of Athletics for Operations and Facilities.
